New Rig. FPS tips for it?

12 posts in this topic

Hello, i just finished building my new PC yesterday. I played about 10 hours of PUBG so far and i was wondering what i could change to get more fps and make the game even smoother.
I have about 55-70 FPS on High Preset so far and was wondering what i could change to keep the good graphics up and get even more FPS.

I didn't overclock yet.
Found a lot of threads to boost FPS with a lot of "negative reviews", so i wanted to ask if their are possibilties for my special PC build, if someone got the same

I don't know exactly how it works, but from what I understand it lowers the directX version from 11 to 10, I know for a FACT it gives a huge FPS boost. Although there is a bug with 8x scopes while looking south it causes a glare.

-USEALLAVAILABLECORES -malloc=system -sm4

My parameters. Is there a reason you're not using -malloc=system?

I noticed a FPS decrease after testing with and without it.

The game is very poorly optimized.

For example in BF1 or GTA V with almost everything in ultra my pc heats up enough and the game is very fluid but in PUBG it does not really heat and the game is not very fluid even with the parameters in very low...

My specs:

i7-4790k / GTX 970 OC / 16Gb ram / Win 7 64bits / Resolution size 1920x1080

I get anywhere from 40fps to 90fps depending on where I am on the map and where I'm looking.

In the game menu i get 205/220fps.

In the lobby i get 115/140fps when 10/50 players is present.

When the lobby is full (90/96 players) i get 50/60fps.

In the plane i get 40/60fps.

This game reminds me of the game Aion at its debut when there was big fight like 150/300 players in the same area O.oxD
