    Xbox players, First and foremost THANK YOU for your patience and perseverance over these last few weeks. We recognize and fully understand the challenges while playing through some of the more impactful issues, and appreciate your persistence and continued support throughout. We have been hard at work on this patch, and we wanted to take the time necessary to ensure stability before rolling it out into Xbox Game Preview. This update brings a number of fixes that you’ve been asking for, alongside continued optimization, stability and UI improvements. We have also included initial support for Game DVR, where you can enable automatic recording of gameplay highlights. Find out more information about Game DVR and using Upload Studio at: https://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-one/apps/upload-studio-info. This patch will be live at 6PM KST / 1AM PST / 10AM CET today. Please restart your Xbox after the patch goes live to get the update. Gameplay Introduced multiple pre-match starting locations in order to optimize both server and game client performance Weapons are removed from the starting island prior to the match starting Game DVR is now supported for automatic recording of gameplay highlights. This feature must be enabled within the Options / Settings menu.     HOLY SMOKES. Okay, LOVING this new patch so far. Only played one game, but I noticed.... FPS increased and smoothed out (not perfect, but much better) jumping to Pochinki with a half dozen other people. Got into 4 firefights, and every single one was buttery smooth. (All at ranges of 20m or closer) Textures / look different, I think in a good way? Rendering seems quicker. Driving FPS has increased a lot, still not perfect, but it's getting closer. FPS in general has increased and normalized quite a bit. Didn't have any of the FPS plunges where you feel like you're in a slideshow. The game also loaded much quicker than usual and I was placed into a match much quicker. I'm going to jump at Yasnaya, School, and Georgopol next to test the FPS there. EDIT: And those damn Red Zones are MUCH quieter, at least from a distance. Haven't been placed directly in one yet.

    That's cool, that's expected. Our goal is for each patch to be better than the last and for the experience to improve with each patch we put out. Players anticipate new patches for the game they enjoy playing and we hugely appreciate, respect and are humbled by the passion shown by our players. We understand that everyone is excited and wants to get in there and kick some ass on the new patch. We'll do our best to make that a reality as soon as possible. maybe not the kicking ass bit, we can't guarantee that practice, practice, practice

    Second Jump - Yasnaya - Not sure how many jumped here with me, there was at least 3 or 4 others. My game was short lived because I potatoed so damn hard. But I noticed a couple things. FPS in Yasnaya has GREATLY increased in stability, even in the dreaded Apartments. Combat, again, was almost perfect in close range combat, even in the middle of the city. One awesome thing I noticed was that the 8x Scope no longer defaults to 8x when you switch weapons. If you zoom out to 4x, it will retain the 4x zoom level when swapping between your two primaries. (Unless you swap attachments, then it defaults the scope, which it seems to do for all scopes.) There also seems to be much more audible noises coming from my own footsteps? Also, some weird noises I haven't heard before in houses. Like hissing, from electricity maybe? Or different textures on the floor? I'll have to keep an ear out. Sorry I died so soon, couldn't test more out. The game feels so smooth now I think I'm going to have to re-adjust all my sensitivities again.

    The starting island is still there and you can still be placed there during the pre-game lobby, but it is one of multiple potential starting locations now Players are split across several different locations, which can include the starting island, ruins, mylta power, zharki etc etc

    It will probably record every single kill / win. Maybe even when we knock people? What it should be recording though, is how many back flips I can do on my motorcycle.

    Third Jump - School Immediately noticed a difference in FPS here at the school than before the patch. I was actually able to hunt down and kill 3 people with a pump shotgun. For the first time since playing this game I had full faith in the pump action at close / medium range inside the school, with the ability to actually maneuver around without my frames dropping into the depths of hell. Managed to get into 6 firefights (only killed 4) and every single time I felt comfortable in my engagements. I notice, however, that my enemies are ALSO much more comfortable in engagements. You can tell it's taking people less time to aim and get their shots off. I was dead center of a red zone for the first time, and the sounds have been reduced from "ear bleeding banshee screams" to "semi-loud booms." My ears appreciate it. I'm noticing more and more sounds that seemingly were not in the game before, and it's adding a nice ambiance that wasn't there before. Absolutely loving the new patch, I'm giving it a 10/10 so far. I hope that these improvements will continue into tomorrow during more "peak" times of the day. Well done Bluehole/PUBG Corp, well done. EDIT: One thing I forgot, the vehicles and the damage received by the player is MUCH better now. No longer do I feel like I'm slamming my face into the steering wheel repeatedly while driving over small pebbles and bumps, or even reversing into a tree!

    Game feels 100 times better. My guy runs so smooth now, graphics look way better. Only played 1 game but I’m digging the update

    This is from the xb1x. The frame rate seems to have been improved a lot. Mainly 30fps around the board. Dropped from plane and landing is around 15-20 probably still. Someone throw a molitive cocktail it drops frames. The buildings look better. It’s smoother all around.

    PUBG has many problems, its quite unpolished around the edges in different areas but to be honest of all the things that grind my gears with this gem is the lack of shooting range its frankly the most annoying thing I have encountered thus far, perhaps because its just the single most obvious thing that should be here yet it isnt and I just simply cant wrap my head around as to why. I dont get mad when I die to a bush wookie, I dont get mad when I get sniped across the map with kar98 and so on, but when I loose a firefight only because I dont have a good grasp of weapon's recoil and behaviour it just pisses me off, because I know I could prevent that, I know I could do something about it, but I am forced by developers to suffer these deaths simply because they refuse the shooting range. It is so frustrating to me that I am denied the ability to comfortable learn and increase my gun proficiency, instead I have to go trough some pseudo work arounds just so I can get a grasp of at least 2 or 3 guns, its ridiculous. I have a full time job and I dont have time nor will to play 8 hours a day so I can learn all guns just pulling trough with the sheer number of games played. I go for a business trip once and the little grasp I had of few guns fades away, I used to be good with ump9 but I havent had a chance to pick it up and use it in a while, so when I finally go into a firefight with it I completely mistreat the gun. I play 2-3 hours a day and thats only when I have slow week at work. I dont have enough time to learn and memorise every single gun that way, with so little play time you use some guns twice a week, and each time have to die just by learning them. As I understand the 2 arguments against shooting range are : developer says so because apparently thats the "spirit" of the gameplay [] People claiming that shooting range would make players "OP". Considering the first one, to me it reeks of pride and stubbornness, it almost sounds like "we wont implement it because at some point we decided not to and we gonna stick to it because reasons" The second argument is just as silly to me, so its ok when teen with all the time in the world gets "op" by playing 10 hours a day but not if someone spends some time in a shooting range? besides everyone who knows any basics will know that shooting while important is still just a part of the skill set you need to get the dinner. Honestly if someone has enough will to spend months on a shooting range then that person kinda deserves to own anyway. But for guys like me it would make all the difference, If I could just hop in for 20 minutes once in a while to get the recoil right, get the feel in all the positions and situations that would be great. Because its really frustrating to die knowing that I had all the pieces and advantages but no gun proficiency, which I cant really get in a humane timeframe without the shooting range For the veterans I imagine it would be better too? is it really fun to drop into these hot places that instead of hardcore contesting grounds turn into potato s**t fest which gets mowed down in 4 minutes? wouldn't you overall enjoy better challenge with more players being able at least semi decently hold out in a firefight and if 40 players didnt die in first 5 minutes just because they are not playing the objective but just try to practice their shooting in a first place? I mean if the only means of practicing is dropping into hot zones to hopefully have a chance to shoot some guns before you die you know that people are desperate for practice, better yet, when people are making threads asking for OTHER fps out the where they can practice it just gets ridiculous at this point . I dont know, make it for RB, implement it into the rewarding system, whatever it is, anything will be better than nothing. Game like this really needs shooting range, really, if you say its a sane gameplay choice then its a very poor one, having the range is just better quality of life for players.

    Немного не логично, что если кого либо подстрелить когда он едет в машине он автоматически вываливается из нее ( при взводной, командной игре) Как бы окей с мотоциклом, с пассажирским сидением у баги, хорошо оттуда могут вываливаться. Но если мы с товарищем на Уазе пролетаем мост, ну поймал маслину дружбан, ну пусть остается в машине, прорвемся через мост, остановимся и я его подниму. Но нет же его автоматом катапультируется из нее, где его бедного как свинью расстреливают. С лодкой так вообще сразу на дно. Крч. Идея в том, чтоб например в Даче, Уазе, Джипе и Бусике, при кноконье как пассажиров так и водителя они не вываливаются из него автоматически а остаются в машине, да без сознания, хпшка отнимается все такое, но не автоматическое катапультирование. Еще можно усложнить и например если вылез в окно пострелять, то при кноконье ты и из Уаза сразу выпадешь. Плюс баланс по технике тоже считай какой то будет. Например в мотоцикле выпадешь сразу, в багги пассажир на крыше тоже сразу, в пикапе пассажиры задних сидений. Как то так, норм же ?

    I’d like to be able to store surplus items in cars/jeeps, and I don’t think this would be an unreasonable advantage either. You’d still be limited to what you can carry on your person, and if the vehicle is stolen or destroyed you lose whatever was in there. Thoughts?

    Multiple pre match starter locations. Think it's pretty much the same as PC now 👍
