    Pan can be placed in the face of player

    It's not a cheat, it's a known issue from the start of early access that multiple forum mods / devs have acknowledged over the last year or two.
  2. Picking up items by right clicking and pressing F should have the same minimum delay as dragging. It doesn't make sense having a large delay for them. This was poorly tested in the past, and players gave negative feedback because it was done wrong. Players wanted the item pickup speed to be the equally fast, as in as a fast as dragging current is. What Bluehole did in the past was added a delay to dragging. This received a ton of negative feedback because it was not what players had asked for. Players wanted the right clicking and pressing F delay to be removed.
  3. Here's a quick recording I did before any other players approached. First two attempts is trying to right click two items. Last is simply dragging. You have to wait about 200-300ms before picking up the next item when right clicking, but dragging is near instant.
  4. Yup. Right clicking there's a 200-300ms delay, drag and there's almost none. I can get roughly 4 items into my inventory dragging before being able to pickup a second item right clicking. I understand the F delay sort of, but right clicking shouldn't be delayed.
  5. No video because recording causes fps issues. Dragging is almost instant while right clicking and pressing F wait for your character's animation to continue. This was an intended feature, because bluehole misinterpreted user feedback in EA, and made all actions delayed for a patch and then reverted it.
  6. I can't tell if both of you are trolling or if this is some kind of meme. Clicking and dragging are both actions that send a single request to the server.

    Patch 22 initial fix rolled out - feedback?

    100% of deaths are due to desync as always. Players are never aiming remotely near where my character is currently standing. It always 2 to 5 seconds behind. I'm being connected NA with about 20ms ping, but there's still too many players with 500+ being allowed to connect.

    About graphics

    Make sure screen scale is set to 100. You can try higher but this might only provide a little difference in picture quality. For better resolution scaling, try using DSR Factor in the Nvidia control panel. Set it to 2.0 and see how the game performs and looks.

    Shotguns are S***

    There seems to be a bug with shotguns that causes the pellets to ignore the player's hitbox. Too many times have I shot a player less than 10M away while ADS and had the pellets hit behind them. It probably happens with other weapons too but you shoot them so fast that a single shot out of 10 isn't really noticeable when it only takes 3-4 to kill.
  10. Most of the time it's 20ms when connected to NA servers. Other servers it's anywhere from 80ms to 400ms.

    PUBG Launcher has stopped working

    I receive this message about 10 minutes after launching PUBG. The game continues to run in the background, and stays open after closing the window.

    Its not just No Trading bullets a problem.

    It fine for hit scan shooters but with PUBG there's a significant amount of time between shooting and your shot hitting. It just doesn't look right but I understand why kill trades are disabled.

    I've seen my squad members randomly do it. I don't think players are doing it intentionally.

    I guess it's not hardware related then. I'm using the onboard Realtek and don't don't have any other sound devices.

    What sound card are you using? I have the same issue with everything being seconds behind server sided when looking at the deathcam and replays. Ping is usually under 30ms on NA, and packet loss is at 0% most of the time since last patch.

    Weird, I never had to do that until this patch. It would show all connections in the other area.

    It looks like there's tiny indentation in the ground. The grenade probably didn't have line of sight so 0 damage was dealt.

    13 million people banned

    There's not much they can do without killing off their income. It's obvious a specific region is the root cause of the excessive cheating problem, but blocking them entirely would cut their cash flow. They could make everything controlled server sided, but that would make gun play even more delayed, and completely unreliable like H1Z1 was in it's prime. Even then, your client receives data from the server, so cheaters will still have ESP and aimbots. They could also improve the encryption methods, but that would introduce input lag, lower fps, and cheat makers will still find a way around it. To me, private, player hosted custom servers is the way to go, but I have seen my share of bad admins banning players who just had a few good matches. Making bans Steam wide would also not work, because most cheaters use a throwaway account. They could force two factor authentication via phone, but even then it's easy to get a throwaway phone number.

    I don't get an IP address from the server anymore. It just gives me IPv4 loopback. Any reason this would happen? I'm using Windows 7.

    I have noticed this bug too. The player will move roughly twice the normal speed when they jump.

    Let's us decide which region to play

    They removed server selection to prevent players from purposely joining outside their region. Sadly it seems like matchmaking uses the same ping prioritization that was used previously, but world wide now. I say give them time and play something better for the time being. It's not worth the frustration.

    It always did even before the buff. People just didn't like it because of the low rate of fire. All automatic weapons still out ttk it, and it's no longer dead silent like it used to be so it's fine where it is.
  24. If you play in Full screen windowed the game will continue to load in the background. You should be able to hear the people running around in the lobby, and then the plane take off. I understand windowed is not an option for some users because it can cause performance issues, but it's a workaround for now.
