  1. Some people may remember, when the game first released, you were unable to rebind mousewheel from scroll weapons. Many people, myself included, pushed for the ability to rebind mousewheel, and a few months ago this was added. I was very happy to be able to bind mwUp to primary weapon, and mwDown to secondary weapon as I do in all games. However, now that I've changed these, whenever I'm in my map and I'm zooming in and out (since the mousewheel is still linked to that), my character is constantly switching weapons . Personally, I am totally fine if I was not able to switch weapons while using the map, or any other UI screen. Some others however, may want that ability. My suggestion is a set of radio buttons in the Gameplay options, such as follows: Disable weapon switching on: [_] Map Screen [_] Inventory Screen Obviously if these are set to true, input that normally switches weapons should fail to fire if the selected UI screens are currently open. If there are any other UI overlays that might belong here, please suggest them.
  2. Hi there, I will address my problems in point form for an easier understanding: 1. I recently purchased PUBG and they didn't give me any option to choose a username 2. The game gave me a random username "kotekotekote" 3. I didn't even get to character customize, they gave me the same exact customization as my brothersfamilyshare account. Heres some additional info: 1. Previously, I was using steam family share and tried PubG for a game or two through my account. (The game is purchased through my Brothers account) 2. My Brother's account username is "yangamatkote" 3. My steam account: http://steamcommunity.com/id/ngyxm/ 4. My brother's steam account: http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198272327367/ Please address this issue. I paid good money and didn't get to choose my username or customize my character. Please change my username to "NGY4M" if possible. Hope to hear from you soon.
  3. This topic is about the Crate Drop Rates and the urge to balance what drops as well as creating a system that shows drop rates % of each item. With full understanding for Early Access and the priorities of development... For a long time players have been facing disappointing results regarding the crate system. The duplicates keep on showing up and there is not much of a fun factor to this system as of yet. We players can all agree that the tab "Reward" looses its meaning and slowly fades away in the depths of despair as the tab does not live up to its name. ( Great... another pair of the same boots, this is the tenth of the same shirt..." All I wanted was that skirt, the mask or "insert your most wanted item". ) There is no feeling of Reward going into that tab, more so disappointment and pain. Most players do respect the early access and phase that you developers are in, and I do believe we all understand that there will be more amazing stuff up the road. However I must urge the fact that this system must become more balanced than what it is and get a serious fun factor boost! When you get 10 pair of the same boots or in this case have an Early Access product with not so many items, please make sure that the players who love customization does not get the same items all over again. Some quick fixes can easily make up for that. Today drop rates is a great discussion across the gaming community from various top tier games and communities out there and there are many versions of crates and rewards which keeps the players exciting but also frustrated and disappointed. A great way of cooling down both disappointments and frustration is releasing and showing drop rates of items and balance what can drop in a set of time. It would be truly amazing if PUBG shows the player what kind of drop rate there are and what the chance is to get duplicates in the crates. To be blunt, as for now the crate system is neither fun nor rewarding. It is dull but also disappointing. I do look forward for more work on the Crate System and new exciting visuals. Developers, you have to fix a more balanced Drop Rate and SHOW players what the Drop Rate are and look over the the loot table so duplicates can become less of a problem. Turn the tables around here is what I ask, for a more excited and rewarding community. A great example of transparency is Grinding Gear Games, the creators behind Path of Exile. Recently they decided to be more transparent and that with great results, their player base is thankful to be able to see what drop chance there are in their mystery box. The studio also allows players to directly buy specific pieces of the cosmetics table which is great! If players get the opportunity to buy what they want directly but also have fun opening balanced packs, crates and boxes that are up to date with the drop rates, expect players to stick around and give developers more in return too. "You can not receive with a closed hand..." I repeat, please look over the Crate System, Balance the drop rate and let the good loot drop more often, instead of having it as extremely rare, because that only creates disputes and negative loops. I do not want this game to be a bad experience and neither do I think other players want to. Please be more transparent and release Drop Rates and let the good stuff drop more often from the crates and try your best to not let there be too much of duplicates! "There is a fine line between keeping players in the cosmetic chase of greed and disappointments and giving the players what they do want to wear and keep them excited to continue playing your game and look bad ass when they do and instead of poor and frustrated." Will the Crate system become a fun and rewarding experience or will you use it as a tool to fish for more money? It is up to all of us to decide here. I look forward to have PUBG as a great example to show the community that they care and give rewards to their player base and not leave them with headaches. Best Regards Zangie

  5. Character size options

I'd recommend adding Character size options. This will allow the character to be drafted to the size in which the user is comfortable with but also can add a layer of complexity to a players aim as they will need to adjust for every character set. Obviously I'd recommend keeping the players realistic in size proportion, but just figured it would be an interesting change over static character sizes and general headshot muscle messory.
  6. I had a bit over 3,000 BP and wanted to change the appearance of my character. When I was confirming the purchase it was lagging and wouldn't go through so in frustration I clicked the confirmation button multiple times. As a result, now I have ~ -17,000 BP. I tried restarting the client but the number remains. I tried playing games and getting more BP but considering how poorly I do in these games my debt is barely going anywhere. Is there any way to get this fixed? Or am I gonna have to play this game for a year to get back to positive BP?
  7. New store and no keys

I think the current "Rewards" and overview of crates, along with keys could be streamlined. Call it "Loot" instead, and just stop selling keys. Have boxes only. Keys are an obnoxious part of loot that should be sent back to the stone age of microtransaction history. It is not a good thing in CS:GO, and neither is it here. The way one buys keys is also weird. Why are they not displayed in the same area as crates? If you insist on having keys, have them in the same menu as the crates, and let us open them straight away instead of having to go to yet another menu to do so.
  8. I had an idea for the gameplay in regards to clothing and character customization. Since crates are currently the only way to get clothing, I thought, what if the reward for winning a chicken dinner rewards you with whatever cosmetic/clothing items (excluding armor/backpacks/weapons, obviously) you are wearing at the end of the match. This would exclude care package only items as well, like the ghillie suit. It would essentially be an alternative way to gaining clothing items, as well as a lasting reward for getting a chicken dinner. Again, this would simply be whatever cosmetic items you are wearing, nothing with defense or attack benefits.
  9. So, I buy PUBG to play it the next day. Turns out my father installed it while he was awake and played it before me. In turn, this made it so my account is screwed over with the name "bandidad" and no customization at all for the character. My father also said that he accidentally passed the customization screen so he just lost his chance to change stuff. Would love a way to fix this, anyone know how? I just want to start the game as if I first launched it, since my family share did it before me. UPDATE: Played 4 games and recorded them for Youtube on the profile. Sadly I feel like my progress will be lost eventually since this isn't my actual profile. I really want to fix this still. ANYONE PASSING BY, Leave your thoughts and input on the problem. Any similar problems?
  10. I feel like I want to be me when I go into the game, especially if there are hundreds of ppl with faces the same as me. Not sure if you can, but it be nice to customize to my face on my character. Only problem I could see is longer loading times for servers due to customize heads being loaded. At least make more heads for ppl to choose from if this is not possible.
  11. Character Customization: Color Wheel

I am a huge fan of character customization, being able to make my player unique and identifiable is always fun to do in these sorts of games. With that being said, I feel like we should be given a color wheel for some customization options. In particular, I feel like it should be an option for hair, skin tone, and at least the basic/starting clothing we get. I understand color locking certain clothing and items we can unlock later in time, but I feel like allowing us to use a color wheel during character creation would be a nice touch.
