  1. I've been having trouble with random FPS drops while playing. I couldn't find any explanation to it, as it can happen in open field with no one around, in cities, inside buildings, in gunfire, while driving, it's just completely random. I run the game around 50-80fps most of time, and then suddenly it drops to around 10-30 fps, the sound becomes robotic (if someone's talking ingame, they sound like daft punk's songs) and laggy. The problem began around october, two weeks after the infamous "freeze while looting" bug, which I didn't have trouble with at the time. Then about two or three weeks ago the problem stopped on live servers (although it started happening on test servers a week ago), then the problem is happening today very often. I had a different GPU, a Sapphire Radeon R9 280 dual-x 3gb, about a month ago I've switched to an Asus GTX 1070 OC dual 8gb. It seemed to didn't have any impact with the problem. I've also switched from windows 7 to windows 10 pro. GPU: GeForce GTX 1070 CPU: AMD FX(tm)-8350 Eight-Core Processor Memory: 16 GB RAM 1866mhx DDR3 OS: Microsoft Windows 10 Pro I have an WC on my CPU, temperature stays at 58C under load. (Ps.: I'm aware of the bottleneck, I plan to upgrade to a I5 8400 in february) Additional info. - I'm using reshade: Technicolor, Vibrance, Lumasharpen - No launch options Game settings as follow ] Some videos showing the FPS drops, along with MSI Afterburner information: Any help will be welcome.
  2. Hi. Well... a friend and I decided to build our very own pc. We both ordered following parts: EVGA B3 550W Modular 80+ Samsung 850 EVO 250GB 2.5" SSD ASUS Prime Z370-P, Socket-1151 Corsair Vengeance LED DDR4 3200MHz 16GB Intel Core i5-8600K 3.60 GHz My friend decided to go with the Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1070 Windforce OC and Cooler Master Hyper TX3 Evo CPU cooler, I went with the EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 ICX SC2 and Noctua NH-14. We downloaded PUBG after installing several drivers so we could test our new PCs. Here's the funny part. We run exactly the same video settings in game and basically in nvidia control panel (untouched settings) and he runs more stable FPS, like around 135-140 easliy stable, sometimes with drops to 110-120. Me? Well, I get around 100-120 and if I'm lucky I can get 130 - Which is a shame because I that extra money after 1070's big brother. This is kinda frustrating because I feel like I've been screwed. I also changed the Nvidia Control settings to max performance in case it would give me some sugar... sadly with no luck. I know I shouldn't complain at all since there are so many people who struggles even more, but can anybody explain wtf is going on? Should also mention that we both run 144 Hz 1080p
  3. I see a lot of posts of people complaining about the rubber banding saying it's a lot worse in Phase 2. Actually for me it's almost gone! EU servers . Just wanted to post this feedback from my side to the devs.
  4. While PUBG is graphically looking pretty good on the Xbox One X, this game is really only enjoyable when it plays smoothly. After spending a few hours on the Xbox One version (on an Xbox One X), the performance is poor. The framerate is just too low, and it doesn't feel responsive to play (I'm comparing the game to other console shooters). It would be great if you offered a "low graphics" setting or something that could boost the framerate and hopefully reduce latency between a controller action and the response on screen. On my PC I have all settings set to minimum except for anti-aliasing and draw distance in order to make the game the most playable. Having that option on the Xbox One X would be great too.
  5. Now Erangel is back to business. I hoped for good fps but i am disappointed. I have to say that i don't see any difference on Erangel without 1.0 campared to Erangel 1.0. Specially the fps in Yasnaya Polyana is just garbage. In turn, i have to say that every city on Miramar is great, looks great, felt great, smooth fps. Even in Los Leones i got 100+ fps but Erangel ist sooo bad optimized that i don't even like to play this map. I hope they can fix it until release. I Also hope for a button to choose wich map i want to play... just in case they don't get Erangel optimized. And i think it would be great if they rework Erangel. The vaulting system isn't made for this map. Na, wait... its more like Erangel isn't made for vaulting. Also the citys in Erangel are pretty boring and nearly look the same in many ways like buildings compared to Miramar where any City looks fantastic unique and full of things to vault and full of obstacles and that all comes with high fps on Ultra... But Erangel... nah i don't like to play this map again until they rework it or at least fix the fps problems there. My main hardware: CPU: 7-4790K GPU: KFA2 1080 RAM: 16GB
  7. Extremely bad FPS

Doing this for a friend. He is getting really bad FPS whenever he is in or near a city. Our friend with a shitty computer lies around 45 FPS while my friend with a much better computer gets around 20-45 FPS. He has tried updating his graphics drivers, verified integrity of game files, and turned his settings down to lowest. Still no change. Specs: GeForce GTX 970 Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-3570K CPU @ 3.40GHz 16 GB RAM 1920x1080 144 Hz
  8. Microstutters still exist

Hi Bluehole Team, The new maps looks absolutely amazing! Most of the gameplay is fairly smooth, but the microstutters that exist on the live servers and previous test builds still exists. Similar to previous builds, it appears to be tied to textures that load in slowly. For reference, core specs are below: Ryzen 5 1600 GTX 1080 16GB RAM I'm very excited to play the final product! -Phoenix

  10. Lag on PC with more then enough specs

I just got this game for my Steam and I am playing on a triple monitor set-up with Nvidia Surround on a PC that has 2 1080 ti's in SLI, a 6850k at 4.2 GHZ, 128 GB Corsair Dominator Platinum RAM, and a Samsung 850 EVO 500 GB SSD. I should be able to run this game fine even with the surround. It works fine for all other games on surround including GTA V, WWII, BF 1, ARMA 3, etc. My internet is 30 up and 30 down but usually never lags on any multiplayer game even with surround, many tabs open on Chrome or on servers with lots of people. what could be happening and how could I fix this issue so I can enjoy the game properly??
  11. Today ( 2nd December ) I had to download a small update of 28.8 MB for PUBG. Nothing was new until my fps just crumbled down to less than 10. First I thought it was a bug and a restart should fix it. It was never fixed. Only then I realised that my CPU was thermal throttling. I've never had this before. The game always ran at 50-60 fps-ish and I even played smoothly before updating 28.8 MB. My CPU temps exceeded 80°C and reached a record 87°C ish. I ran other games, and some benchmarks ( in the same environment, conditions etc ) and it never peaked 75°C. Somehow the game was getting so CPU intensive ( 100% usage ) that even the sounds started to skid. Is this an actual bug from that Update or is it just my system. Specs : Core i5 7300 HQ Quad core Gtx 1050ti 4gb ddr5 1 Nvme SSD and a regular SSD. Laptop is the Dell Inspiron 7000 series. Thank you in advance. PS : Operating system is Windows 10 Nvidia driver Version : 385.28
  12. FPS Problems

Hey guys I'm just curious, so all my friends who are running the game on a 10?? series graphics card are having lags and everyone who's running on a 9?? series are fine. (at least they told me) Like 2-3 months the game was running perfect for me I was playing on High settings with around 120-140fps constantly, now they game runs just terrible, I'm playing on Low-Medium settings and can barely keep the 100 going. I always have massive drops to almost 40-50fps, sometimes just random when nothing specific is happening on the screen. I'm running the game on those specs: Asus Rog Maximus Hero VIII Intel i7 6700K Asus Rog Strix GTX 1070 OC 16GB DDR4@2666mhz Corsair rm650x psu (650 watts) The game is running on a HDD, I'm using my SSD only for windows and some programs. my ingame settings: Would be nice if you guys could tell me your settings and average/highest/lowest fps you get.

  15. Loading slow

Hi there, So the last update (With the new white intro's) caused my PUBG to load the map very slowly. It's lags every time at the beginning of the game really bad. The houses don't load properly and after some waiting it says Network Lag detected. Then after it runs at 30-60 FPS and again lag spikes if I ride my a vehicle into a new area of the map. So what happened after this update with my pc, because my friend says that his PUBG is now loading faster. Can someone help me fix this? Regards, BOXjordiHEAD
  16. Hey everyone, I don’t know why but my game is stuck at 40 FPS! I’m watching many YouTube videos, and they’re all saying that I have to fix some things in the 3D Settings in NVIDIA Control Panel, launch options, and graphics settings in the game settings. I tried everything and nothing worked! I have really good specs in my PC but I don’t why I can’t get to 60 fps in PUBG! My PC has the Intel Core i7 6th generation processor, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060, 16GB RAM, 256GB SSD + 1TB 7200RPM HDD, which are really good specs. My brother had the same specs in his PC (except his 7th generation of intel core i7, mine is the 6th) and he’s playing pubg without any lag at 60 FPS! How is it possible? I hope someone can help me fix this problem and play pubg at 60 fps. Thanks.
  17. Many times I find myself in gun battles where my attacks dont matter and the others do. The most recent and the one I've documented is this: I tried to shoot somebody with no armor with an S12K, I shot them twice, once in the chest and once in the face. Either of those are a one shot down at that distance. I had the blood splatter effect but it didnt seem to hurt him at all, and I got mowed down by his AKM I wouldnt mind if it was once every so and so games. But it's every single game.
  18. Changing shadows from ultra to very low changes absolutely nothing anymore except how smooth the shadows look. The industrial sheds around the map are completely darkened inside, and you can barely see anyone/anything in most buildings now. Also, this has clearly had an effect on my fps, because instead of sitting on 60-70 fps in my regular looting town, its now 40-50.
  19. Is this FPS normal?

Recently i'd thought lets upgrade my computer (because literally PUBG is the only game that i couldn't play) from a AMD FX8320e with 8gb of ddr3 at 1337MHz and a 60gb kingston SSD with the same graphics card as above, to the pc that's listed under hardware. With my old setup i managed to get like 40 - 60 fps and drops to 15-30 fps. When i installed my new hardware i completely reinstalled Windows and installed steam with pubg right away. To see the difference in fps when i change hardware i always go to spawn and walk to a certain rock on the ground and aim to a certain point. The picture beneath shows my location: https://ibb.co/jLEoQm As you can see i have like 84 FPS. A friend of me has the following hardware Hardware: CPU: https://tweakers.net/pricewatch/357173/amd-fx-8350-tray/specificaties/ RAM: 8gb 1600MHz DDR3 SSD: 120GB Kingston GPU: https://tweakers.net/pricewatch/548957/msi-geforce-gtx-1070-gaming-x-8g/specificaties/ PSU: https://tweakers.net/pricewatch/355320/corsair-cs650m/specificaties/ Monitor: 22'' samsung 60 Hertz Software: OS:Windows 10 PRO 64 bit. I also told him to make a screenshot and let him stand on the same rock and facing the same marker. This is the result: https://ibb.co/ceRA5m 72 fps. There is no doubt that the 1070 is better than my card but i read so many forums that this game is CPU and RAM intensive. I also installed the game on the M.2 Disk. Another friend of me has the following setup: i5 6600k, EVGA GeForce GTX 980 Ti 6GB Hybrid Gaming, 16gb ddr3. He mainly gets like 100+ fps (often120-130ish). Is my GPU So bad? Do i have the wrong settings? Are there people with the same system-ish that i have and get better or worse fps?
  20. After the recent update, the game has been lagging as much as it did in the beginning stage of the game. Before this update/patch, it almost seemed if as optimization for this game was nearly complete. Now my screen sometimes freezes in combat with other players (again), lags like crazy when I land my parachute (yup, again), and quite a few times the buildings won't fully load by the time I land so everything looks like smudged cookie dough. Does anyone else experience this? Let me know. Thanks. PC Specs: -8GB RAM -i5 6th gen -NVIDIA GTX 950M -128GB SSD
  21. I currently run Windows 7 64-bit. Would switching to Windows 10 Pro 64-bit improve my performance? I have the license for this, but haven't switched yet. If anyone has knowledge of the performance difference between these two, I would be grateful if you could share it. I get about 100 FPS staring out at the sea from spawn island towards Military. In Military I get about 70-80 constant. Also in Primorsk I had a remarkable ~90 FPS constantly (sadly game didn't end there). In Pochinki I get perhaps 45-70. Yasnaya... I avoid that place completely. Ideally I would never want to go below 60, but that's not realistic. I used to get higher framerates, before the PP-patch. My specs: Intel Xeon E3-1230 v2 3,3 GHz 4x4 GB DDR3 1600MHz GTX 1080 8GB Samsung 850 EVO SSD Running the game at 1080p resolution. The processor might confuse some, but it was a good bang-for-the-buck processor at the time.
  22. Hello guys! Im on windows 10, and i own a I7 4770k, GTX 1060 3G, 24GB ram. I went to the xbox app, and turned off Game DVR, this gave me a boost from 70fps to 200fps!, im not even joking. https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=6239-DZCB-8600 Hope this fixes allot of ur issues! Goodluck
  23. Kindly optimise the game for Dell inspiron 5567 laptop as i am not getting the required fps on it. The fps i am getting is around 20 to 25 but i should get a fps around 50 to 60 on very low graphics My specs are 7th gen core i7 2.9Ghz, 16 GB RAM, AMD R7 M445 4GB GPU. Regards
  24. In addition to a threat created by @Mooshoo about forcing grass and foliage settings (the argument being as grass settings have been forced to a point, Devs' should do the same for foliage), What do people think in regards to having a dedicated server only for high-end users. i.e. a serve that forces grass, foliage and textures to ultra? That way, if you don't have a beast-rig you can play on the usual servers - but if you have spunked a years worth of benefit-walfare-dole money on a GTX 1080 ti SLI, i9 sept-core giga-f**k you in the a@$ processor, with10 billion GB ram, linked up to a NASA internet-data-servcer.. then you can play on a server that forces everything on Ultra. Agree this server won't host many people, but at least then it caters for everyone, and divides the "level playing field" into categories? Just a suggestion, would be interesting to know others thoughts? (I know this is a roughly-put thread but I assume most people will know what I'm trying to get at).
  25. I generally get around 60fps in this game, it drops to 30-40 in towns or around groups, but today it has been solid in the 20’s. anyone else? My rig is decent: MSi GP62VR, i7-6700HQ, NVIDIA GTX 1060 3gb, and 32gb RAM. GeForce has optimized settings for performance, but it is terrible today.
