    SSD baby

    So finally took the plunge after reading on here some of the various SSD recommendations and having look at the load differences I was convinced and set on getting one. So yesterday it turned up and I am now the proud owner of the Samsung evo 860 pro which boasts up to a 560mb/s read speed and I just gotta say that it's nice to land in a hotspot and as I land all the loot be there, rather than waiting 10 to 20 secs for the guns to load in. Just wanna say that anyone that is on the fence or wants to improve their pubg experience I highly recommend this SSD, you do need to get an enclosure for it though, if anyone is interested let me know below and I will post links to both. Cost of SSD was £92 and enclosure was £10, however there was adata ones for £60 or the evo 860 for about £80 I believe.
  2. My question is how can this game be released when there is still crashing, horrible rendering problems even with an SSD, and very low FPS? I completely understand the issues while in the preview program I expected all of it when I bought the game on dec. 12th, but once you “release” the game it has to be sold as a solid running game and in my personal opinion it’s far from that. I don’t know the definition or even if there is a definition of a finished game but adding more content doesn’t make a product finished. If anyone has a better understanding on what “1.0” means please enlighten me. I’m just worried we will get content shoved down our throats to try and compensate for a poor performing game. I have friends who haven’t played in months bc they couldn’t deal with the problems. The first thing they ask when I tell them it is getting officially released is about performance and all I can say is it’s better than it used to be but still bad.

    Rendering?

    So I have an Xbox 1X, with 500GB External SSD, Wired connection 400down 40up. With possibly the best set up for this game (as far as rendering goes). I landed hacienda and got stuck in the floor bc the building didn’t solidify until 20 seconds after I hit the ground. This is the worst this game has ever been. When it first came out I didn’t have a SSD but my buildings were completely rendered with loot. This is unbelievably sad. I will drop again at hacienda and record it. Please keep in mind this is close to the best set up you can have for rendering speeds. Also please post your own experiences on here with your set up.

I was using the replay function today to create some videos and still images for thumbnails, when it dawned on me that there is water rendered under the entire map, wherever you go on the maps there is water under the map. Now I am no programmer or game dev, but surely having the game render all this water, (which is all constantly moving etc) causes a significant performance hit? Why is it necessary to have water under the entire map? Why can't there just be water where there needs to be? As I said, I am no game dev so forgive me if there is a reason why it is there, but to me it seems like it would cause unnecessary load? Could a significant performance increase be obtained by removing the water under map?

    Weapons/Loot Appearing Late

    I've discovered on numerous occasions, in particular last night on the OC servers, weapons taking sometimes up to 5-10 seconds to appear. Incredibly frustrating when you just want to hot drop and start an early fight. I thought it might only be in highly populated areas, but I had a case of a SCAR-L, 3 clips of 5.56 and an extended mag that didn't appear on a rooftop for at least 10 seconds after I landed. Was myself, teammate and an enemy duo on the area. This is for me at least, game breaking. RNG in the first 30 seconds is a factor, but you take away the first 5 or so seconds of a hot drop waiting for weapons to render in and you're near on death without fault of your own. i57600k 16g ddr4 GTX 1070

    Low resolution water rendering

    This happens to me in the live build as for today (2018/01/11). It started happening, I believe, with PC 1.0 release, if not earlier. When you are close to the water, it renders in a "low resolution" way, so you see big pixels. It is a mess, visually, very hard to the eyes. Example: However, when you are far from the water, it renders normally, all is good. Example: Please check the images in full screen to better see the problem. Notes and clarifications: - This happens in both maps. - This did not happen in earlier builds. It certainly not happened back in October or November. I've been playing PUBG for months (since june, If I recall correctly) and this did not happen.     Barrels not rendering in garage

    I tried shooting someone in a garage using an 8x scope many times and they didn't die. Viewing the replay showed that there were some barrels that didn't render. I have a video from both perspectives (One as it happened, one from the replay)

    Tree Rendering Issue

    Hey Everyone, Does anyone else have this issue (video below)? I know a lot of players have a similar issue when zooming in a scope, but I seem to have a more severe version, where the trees are constantly rendering as I walk around (video below). It's 100x worse when driving and also makes forest fights unbearable, I'll grab another video when I have some time where it's more severe, but this video should give the general idea of my issue. Please let me know if you have any questions or suggestions! Attempts to resolve, with no results: zero impact Every combo of in-game graphics settings possible (low, med, high, etc) Tried different recommended Nvidia Control Panel settings Graphics card drivers are up to date re-installed game checked file integrity Server: Happens in Live & Test, Issue has existed since I first started playing in Season 3. Settings: Currently displayed graphics settings - everything on VERY LOW General Specs: EVGA 1080Ti SC2 i7 7700k SSD 16GB RAM
  9. I found a fix for the issue here, but the game should already handle this for everyone who doesn't apply this fix: This is also probably the cause of a lot of people complaining about anti-aliasing when it's really the operating system's scaling working incorrectly with the game.
  10. I am having an issue with PUBG that makes it basically impossible to play. My setup consists of 3 monitors (one 1920x1080 above two 1280x1024 monitors, bottom left 4:3 monitor is display #1, 16:9 monitor is #2, and right 4:3 is #3). PUBG renders on display #2 (windows-defined main display) but the "actual" window is covering all of #1 and half of #3 and I can only interact with it on these monitors. I am also running in windowed mode to my knowledge, but i did set it in the options to fullscreen and i tried setting it back in the config, but to no avail. it is likely that it is still in fullscreen. Additionally, the lower monitors get a snapshot of the game (while it is loading, usually just a black screen or legalese screen) until i tab out, which causes me to just see a small block in the top left of display #1 with the name of the window. I can also click "through" the "window" that PUBG is rendering on, because the window isn't actually there. I have attempted editing a single value in a config (LastConfirmedFullscreenMode in GameUserSettings.ini in AppData\Local\TslGame\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor, I attempted setting this value to 0 from 1 but then changed it back after it not working) and tried to set '-fullscreen' as a flag but removed it after no change was apparent. I saw this bug today, January 5th, 2018 at around 8:30 PM EST. I was NOT running the test branch. I am running Windows 10 Home, have a PNY GTX 1060 6GB, an AMD A8-5500, and 8GB of RAM.

    Props not rendering very far

    Crashing A lot and Rendering issues

    Game is crashing non stop, had an 8 hr stream last night with it crashing at least 10 times, sometimes right after another. Rendering issues have been horrible when landing causing no guns to render and getting shot before a weapon has even loaded in the game. We are streaming non stop hoping developers can see for themselves.
  13. Every time after I jump out of the plane at the beginning of every match, I have to sit and wait outside of the building I wish to enter. I typically end up waiting 15-20 seconds for the skins and textures to render. In some cases when I land by the bridges they take a while to load in aswell. Once I saw a car drive past me and on my screen they were just driving across the invisible bridge. Is there a way to fix the render speeds? Since mine obviously has a slower rendering speed than everyone else. Another large issue I have is my game freezing, and it's not a rare thing. I typically will blackscreen or freeze 4-5 times a day. Just yesterday I was in the final 3 people alive and my game froze. Is there anything that I am doing wrong in particular or does anyone know a fix?

Dear Bluehole This is a test server, 11/22/17 I Found a bug which is in prison near the big house you can see the cliffs at the windows to locate it and the bug lets you climb the stairs when you run up at the stairs and press space mostly at the end of the stairs and i think it can happen at all stairs (haven't tried at other houses). Also there is another problem that i found with rendering houses but it happened in only 1 game out of a lot of games i played) maby it's my computer but i am reporting it just incase there is a problem with rendering. Thank you.
  15. Whenever I load into a game and parachute down, my buildings have taken a while o load. This has only become a recent problem and I have previously landed in high population areas with no problem. However, now my textures look poor whenever I land and I cannot interact or enter any buildings. I have to wait at least an entire minute for this to be fixed. I have a GTX 1050 TI, a very clean hard drive (hardly any of it is used), 8 GB of RAM an I5 processor (6600 I believe). If I land in places with no more than 4 buildings it takes about 15 seconds, but any more is 30-60 seconds to be able to interact. I have not overclocked my system either.

    Rendering Problems

    When I parachute down, by the time I reach the buildings they still aren't rendered. And when I land on top of them I fall through the roof constantly for about 30 seconds, and during this time I can't do anything. players can come up to me and kill me just as easy as well. Also when I land on the ground and the buildings haven't rendered I can run through walls but if it does render while I'm in a wall I get stuck for the rest of the game.

Until the most recent patch , PUBG had been running well for me , however since the last update Thursday 14th of September , the game is taking an insubordinate amount of time to eventually load . I am now only able to join games very late and often at the end of the map within the air I get to the landing screen ok , and can join a squad just fine but , since the patch I never get into the lobby . I get stuck on the landing screen for a long time , according to task manager the game is 'not responding' . The game will eventually start but by then I am either dead or floating in the air at the end of the map I did not manually touch the CFG files or any ohter file ( apart from reinstalling battleeye on an earlier relase ) . There are no launch options within the steam launcher either . I tried the 'run as admin' checkbox I tried clearing my internet cache/ renewing IP , using the following commands ( this fixed the same issue on earlier builds ) : ipconfig /release ipconfig /all ipconfig /fushdns ipconfig /renew netsh int ip set dns netch winsock reset I have tried booting and safe mode and scanning for virus I have verified the integrity of the game cache I have reset the router several times I have turned on family sharing and tried the game from another account I have hit my head on the desk a few times and swore at the screen My specs are AMD Ryzen 1500x Gigabyte Aurus Gaming K7 GTX 970 x2 Sli Vengance LPX 2666 8 GB Samsung Evo 256 ( game and OS is installed here ) WD Black 2 TB drive ( steam and other steam games here ) RM 850X PSu

So the game is basically unplayable. have tried reinstalling, seen a ton of youtube videos. which none of the "fixes" have worked. my main problem is getting stuck at the loading screen loading in to a match. sometimes it dosent end at all, and sometimes i glitch in to the player area with the timer and then on to the plane right after. and when im in the loading screen i can hear other player in the timer area, abnd sometimes the plane running. This seem to be a known issue by know. And then we have the smudgy building/not rendering problem. i have seen this alot to and people seem to have found fixes that work for them individually sometimes, but apparently not for me, hhhhh. in every ****** match ive played the buildings appaer not rendered. i cannot enter them, if i do i just walk right through and onto grass and my character glithces tf around. its very annoying when everyone else get s loot and i have to wait for the god **** houses to render...... hope someone could help me with this, didnt pay 30 bucks for nothing.......

    Rendering crash issue

    I got this game a few days ago,first 2 days of gameplay worked fine.Now with the newest update that added loot crates,my game seems to have a chance of freezing/crashing withing the first20-30 seconds.It either happens immediately after landing or i'll go into a building,the game will render an item and it will freeze/crash.This sometimes happens 4-5 times in a row.It worked fine before the recent update

    First bug, invisible structures!

    Bug Description: When I loaded into the game structures and buildings were invisible in Milty Pover. Terrain and nature stuff was unaffected, but I couldn't see walls/houses/etc. The real dangers of this bug came when me and my team mate started experimenting. I could see all the loot in the buildings, and could see my team mate in the buildings. Just as I stood on the fence, I pushed myself very far from my starting position and saw everyone under the map, but when I shot the damage did not pass! Date Seen: 02/08/17 Server: Regular server. The real dangers of this bug came when me and my team mate started experimenting. I could see all the loot in the buildings, and could see my team mate in the buildings. He gave me a gun and went back in side. I shot at him and did damage. We freaked out, because this was insane and game breaking haha. I went to another building and could see enemy players. I shot at one and it downed him, after which I let him get revived and then let them kill me and my team mate because I didn't wanna cheat. This is insanely powerful. I have no clue what caused this or how to recreate it, but if it was figured out it'd be game breaking. Date Seen: 8/1/17 Server: Regular server.   22. Bug Description: Some boxes at Georgopol container area have weird rendering distances (inside the big halls) I saw previous bug report back from march but different location.     Scope rendering bug?

    Not sure if bug or cheater, but seemed like scope didnt render a building at distance, and i was able to hit a guy trough walls
