Runs crisp so far I have no complaints, no lag in camera movement from the frame drops, ADS feels quick and responsive now as well! I see some people

complaining about how turning off the motion blur is making the game unplayable but I have absolutely no idea what they’re seeing, games running awesome.

It's amazing to see that the experience of people differs so widely! [pretty much like every PUBG patch].

Has anyone noticed an improvement with the brightness with HDR turned on?

Great to hear. :D

Now that the framerate has been stable we need to break the 30 fps barrier. 1080p would give us this easily!

People are getting a bit carried away with this update.

It hasn't solved all of the problems, it's just improved one of them.

This.

Is what we are seeing.

It's called Judder. And it's when something on screen is in motion, at 30fps.

Motion blur helps this by blending the pixels between frames.

A 60fps game doesn't really need the motion blur as much because 2x the frames negate this.

But for someone with a good display. No motion blur on 30fps content is horrendous.

I have an LG C7 so I have a good display, is this happening when you’re panning your camera quickly back and forth or what? I’ve tried to mimic this in normal play and I haven’t noticed it at all.

I also have a C7 oled.

This is not a quick pan.

An Acog on 5 sens will do the same. That's about the speed = worst judder.

C7

Game mode

- tried 1080p 120hz. Same.

-tried 42" lg 1080p set. Same.

No motion. Blur @ 30fps = judder.

If your sensitive to it. Its a killer

Yes.

It's running in PC mode which removes all post processing.

It the lack of motion blur in the game is causing judder. Simple

Motion blur is used to disguise low framerates so what did the devs expect to happen when disabling it on an already not so good framerated game.

I’m running the exact same setup as you except I have my input set to console, I’m curious as to why we’re having widely different outcomes. Try changing your input to Console, let me know if you have any luck.
